The MRCOOL® DIY® OuttaSight™ Ceiling Cassette is a sleek, discreet, design-focused air handler option within the DIY® Ductless Mini-Split series. Designed for multi-zone systems but compatible with the single-zone 18k BTU DIY® Ductless Mini-Split, the OuttaSight™ comes in three different sizes: 9k BTUs, 12k BTUs, and 18k BTUs.
MRCOOL® Olympus® Multi-Zone
The MRCOOL® Olympus® Multi-Zone is a hyper-efficient mini-split system that allows for multiple air handlers to be attached to a single condenser. You can potentially heat and cool your entire home with one of these systems, especially since it has multiple air handler options.
What is the difference between MRCOOL outta sight cassette and Olympus cassette system?
The primary difference between the MRCOOL OuttaSight cassette and the Olympus cassette lies in their intended use and the features they prioritize. The OuttaSight cassette is designed for discreet, low-profile installations, while the Olympus series emphasizes efficiency and advanced features.
MRCOOL OuttaSight Cassette:

The MRCOOL OuttaSight 4th Gen system is considered DIY. The Olympus is not DIY. A HVAC professional must install the Olympus® mini-split system.
